BACKGROUND

• from the DC Extended Universe, baby! specifically from between Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad
• still recovering from a long and unsteady and very intense relationship with The Joker
• and by intense I mean abusive, they got together after he manipulated her into falling in love with him and setting him free from Arkham Asylum where she was treating him
• because she used to be called Dr. Harleen Quinzel and she has a PhD in psychiatry, it's a mess
• she's coming to Fandom off of things heating up a little too much back in Gotham, and also just because she's never given the small town life a shot before so might as well use this as an opportunity, you know?
• she's also housing her current sidekick/teenage pickpocket Cassandra Cain over in Baltimore because Cass said "fuck no" to small town life
• Harley's about to take over Needful Things so Cass is in a convenient spot to make acquisitions for the store (and I say acquisitions but I mean steal things)

LOOKS AND STUFF

• in her early 30s
• 5’6”, skinny, wicked strong
• suuuuuper pale with Margot Robbie's expressive face, heightened by a penchant for dark brows, dark eyeliner, and a nice bold red lip
• bleached blonde hair with the tips dyed two different colors, and worn in various kinds of twin ponytail types of styles
• has many tattoos, but the most visible/noticeable are the little heart by one eye and the word "ROTTEN" on her jawline
• dresses like a deranged but upbeat club kid, expect a lot of colors and sequins and whatever
• has a gymnast background and sometimes it shows but then sometimes she's also like a human Muppet or cartoon character
• has a really pronounced old New York/Brooklyn accent, you really can't miss it
• is a skilled fighter with experience with all sorts of weapons, though she seems to favor a good baseball bat or maybe a comically large mallet

PERSONALITY

• a pretty bubbly and upbeat broad just looking to have a good time and to enjoy her newfound emotional freedom
• that said, she also has poor impulse control and is a supervillain in recovery, so odds are she may rub some people the wrong way but pls know it's all IC
• distractable as all hell
• has a reputation for being batshit crazy which she will gladly play into if it'll intimidate people who deserve to be intimidated
• actually pretty stable these days, although she does seem to hallucinate her taxidermy beaver talking to her on a regular basis
• really just wants and needs some friends
• and to try and learn how to be a better person again

THE PET

• Harley's coming to Fandom with her pet hyena Bruce
• this is Bruce:

• so you see why I had to mention him separately: because I need you to understand he's a big guy
• Bruce will be eating some of Fandom's wildlife and I'm already sorry about it

Just heads up if Connor ever meets Bruce he's so gonna like assume an anomaly opened up on Fandom somewhere and some prehistoric hyena thing has wandered in... and he's gonna like instantly want to pet him at the same time!
