Well that certainly worked. And Harley did groan - but also squirmed against him (because greedy) and dug her nails more into his skin.

Which was likely even better.

Marc didn't mind Harley being greedy at all. Both in principle, but also because he wanted to make damn sure nothing happened that she wasn't fully enjoying and feeling happy about. Nothing that even remotely brushed up against those vulnerable spots if he could help it.

Which was why even though he had plenty of thoughts of amping things up to that mack tuck level she mentioned earlier - and that was by no means being ruled out for later - right now Marc was going to take his time.

And if that meant lingering over things he was trying to make sure he was getting nothing but hot and greedy reactions - well that was not exactly a hardship.

He'd also make sure to give feedback of his own. Like biting at her lips in response to her fingernails. And lifting her up into him again, this time harder but also much slower so she could really feel that friction.

It was slower, and somehow the noise Harley made was slower, too. Kind of a whimper against his lips, but very hard to mistake for anything other than pleasure. Friction, pressure, all of it causing the best kind of tingling warmth right in her core.

"Aw, fuck," she sighed, inanely, right before pouring some more of a similar sentiment into kissing him. He could be like this and he'd tried to keep it from her?

There was something so innately Harley about a swear that was also a sigh that Marc couldn't help but smile against her lips.

He gave her mouth a light bite, moving into her again, just as slow but with more of an arc right when he was hitting the sweet spot, giving her more than a simple back and forth.

It was maddening.

And Harley loved that, even as it was slowly making her more restless underneath him. A little more squirmy.

Her fingertips found their way just barely under the collar of his shirt, finding more skin to scratch at.

Harley got rewarded with a groan from Marc and him pressing in again.

Something about seeing her enjoy herself and get worked up like this was really doing it for him though. So, with an impulse he hoped wouldn't backfire on him, he murmured, "Lemme take care of you" while lingering as he was rocked up against her, making it clear he didn't mean take care as an offer to do her taxes.

Harley was the kind of gal who could go a few rounds, right?

Oh, to suggest otherwise would've been ludicrous!

But did he know how many times over the course of Harley's life people had offered to take care of her, in any context? Even to do her taxes? And sounding like they actually wanted to and planned to? Not many.

So even in the middle of all of this, Harley felt a sudden lump in her throat. And then managed to both kiss him feverishly and nod several times, because yes. Yes, please.

Good. Because make no mistake, Marc had some strong opinions here about things he'd love to do, see, and have done by her. But right now the only thing he wanted to focus on was making her feel good.

(Not that he wasn't enjoying himself. Little bit painfully so. But nothing he couldn't handle. Especially when watching her like this was its own reward.)

Marc needed to move for what he had in mind. But before he did he said, "Not going anywhere, promise" to hopefully ease any anxiety she might feel when he shifted the two of them on the bed. He took advantage of that unmade blanket to give her something to rest her hips on, while he moved mover, lying down on his right side, flush up against her left. He kept his left leg between hers, rocking again to show that friction wasn't going away.

With one of his hands now free, he moved it slowly up her body. A long caress up her side to ultimately brush his fingers against her neck as they kissed.

Harley might've claimed she didn't need the reassurance, but she... probably needed the reassurance. At the very least it meant she let him move without protest - though with curiosity.

And with one of those little noises for the friction, so welcome.

And yeah, maybe she shivered a little, feeling his hand traveling up her body, sue her. Apparently that was one of the many reactions he could stir up in her.

Marc didn't slow his kisses down exactly. But he wasn't in a rush either, kissing and sucking at her lips like he had no place else to be. The movement of his thigh against her matched the same pacing. Determined to get her where she should be, but not demanding she be in a hurry about it.

He moved his hand up to caress her jawline with his thumb. Then he took his time about bringing his hand back down again, going over her neck, her collarbone, her side. Then he brought it up to circle around her breast. Not touching yet, and very deliberately over her clothes, but applying a little pressure to see how that worked for her and if she wanted more.

Harley had a free hand now, too. It found his and guided it squarely onto the breast it had been circling.

Still on top of the shirt, though, which was a decision she was immediately questioning. But they had time! Time in which she could now apply a little bit of pressure on his hand to let him know he was free to get as familiar with her chest as he already had with her backside, earlier.

Marc wasn't going to push Harley to be any more exposed in this moment than she was ready to be. After all, Marc of all people could understand how what you were wearing could offer a level of protection if you were in a situation where you might get hurt, even if said protection in this case was mostly symbolic.

If Harley indicated she wanted her clothes not to be in the way, Marc would happily accommodate though. It wasn't like he didn't want to see her. He was letting her set the pace there was all. And if she wasn't ready for that yet, he could do this whole thing without removing a stitch of her clothing. It was no problem either way.

As for getting familiar, Marc appreciated that offer. He was definitely not limited to one location as far as all the parts of her he wanted to get a literal intimate understanding of. He kneaded her breast, matching the pressure of her hand on his, and brushed his thumb over her nipple to see how that worked for her.

Well, the smirk against his lips said something for sure. And the little hum. And if he kept at it, it wasn't going to take much at all for that nipple to begin becoming more of a peak.

So yeah, it worked.

Harley gave his hand another squeeze, and then hers slid away. She needed it elsewhere: namely, for sliding onto the leg he had between hers. Not to stop him from doing what he was doing, but rather to make it more of a... mutual effort.

Meaning that gripping his thigh gave her an anchor for grinding against it every time he moved, hips canting upward to meet it yet more firmly.

Marc encouraged that peak, rolling her nipple between his thumb and index finger as he continued to knead at her breast.

As far as her movements went, Marc was happy to help. He took his cue from her grip, applying more pressure of his own and moving his hips to help add extra sensation every time she rocked against him.

And then of course there was the grinding that she was just... really giving her all, now, to some great effect. She seemed to find a particularly good motion, angle, something, just then, judging by the whimpery moan that escaped her.

Marc hadn't been in a ten year relationship with a woman who needed some reason to put up with all his bullshit without learning a thing or two about how to satisfy in the bedroom. So when Harley seemed to be finding her groove in the way she moved against him, Marc knew damn well better than to change a single thing about what he was doing down there. Not unless she gave him a clear sign she wanted him to.

Elsewhere, though - well there was that nice chest of hers. So he applied more pressure with his fingers and hand, and then added in his tongue along with that warm breath she was enjoying. Doing his best to add more nice sensations with everything else she was feeling.

Harley really wished she'd thought to at least her take shirt off, earlier, or preferably just everything up top, but she also sure as shit wasn't going to disrupt anything to do it now.

Besides, there was something to be said for the sensation of the two layers of fabric between his mouth and her skin slowly dampening. She wondered idly whether he could or would be feeling something similar against his thigh. The heat of her, at the very least.

Which, yeah, she'd found her groove with, and it was rapidly taking up every bit of focus she had. Just the repetition of rocking, pressure, pleasure coaxing her right out of thinking about anything at all except riding his thigh right to orgasm.

And if the way she was panting and getting more noisy moment by moment were any indications... It wasn't that far off, either.

Oh Marc could feel that heat. And on the odd chance there'd been a worry before her rapidly narrowing focus, there was a clear sign against Harley's leg of just how much Marc didn't consider this centering of Harley's needs to remotely be a sacrifice.

Picking up on how much closer she was getting, he added a little pulling to that one nipple. And then murmured, making sure there was a lot of that warm breath going through her clothes on her other breast as he said, "That's it. I've got you."

Oh.

Harley was only human (well, mostly), and more to the point, a human who did not have a ton of experience hearing those words, either. So what else could she do but take the extra permission slash encouragement to just chase what she wanted, with wild abandon?

Somehow, she found one last notch to kick things up to, pure unselfconscious want and need in how she moved, gripping his thigh hard as she kept grinding and grinding and grinding until her hips stuttered a little, her breath caught, and --

She just squeezed his leg between the two of hers like she needed one last anchor as she came with a series of shudders and loud noises, both of which honestly paled next to the pulsing and clenching she actually felt. Hey, when your time building up to something involved stuff in three separate rooms...

That was really nice. Harley like that, lost in her own pleasure, sent a heat through Marc's body that was almost as good as if they'd been going back and forth all this time. This was a sight Marc definitely wanted more of in the future.

It was still Harley's moment though. So Marc kept at touching her, increasing his efforts as she got closer and closer to the edge, then easing and transitioning to soothing as she rode out the high for as long as she liked as he murmured things like, "That's it. I've got you. Beautiful."

It took what felt - to Harley, anyway - like a long moment for the biggest peak of the rush to pass. She was still definitely feeling a little something even as she slumped fully into the mattress again, letting go of the last remnants of tension in her body.

And sighed, "Wow."

Marc settled next to her, propping his head up on his hand. He left his leg draped over hers so she could feel the weight of it. His free hand rested flat against her stomach. There was a warmth in his eyes that suggested even now he was enjoying drinking in the view.

"Doing okay?" he asked. Hey, just because the answer looked clear didn't mean it hurt to check.

It took Harley a good second or two to break out of her daze enough to turn her face towards him.

"I can't even remember when I last did that," she said, which was not an actual answer to his question, no. "But it must've been... high school? Early in college?"

Either way, she shook her head very seriously, eyes big.

"They do not give grinding on thighs and coming in your pants the credit it deserves."

Marc caught that lack of answer but didn't press, instead going with trying to keep an eye out for signs that she wasn't okay at all.

"Helps take the edge off," he said. "Besides, why stop if something's working?"

Harley had barely registered the question, honestly. Hopefully her general excitable (yet lazy, in an afterglow sort of way) beaming would help reassure him?

"Yeah," she sighed, almost wistful again. "And it worked. Holy shit."
