Apartment Above Needful Things; Monday Late Afternoon

Harley had wanted to buy as many daffodils as she could carry - so Harley had actually bought as many daffodils as she'd been able to carry. And maybe a couple more than she had been able to carry all the way from the flower shop to her place, but you know what they say, you couldn't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, or decorate an apartment without losing a few daffodils along the way!

And she still had plenty when she made it back to Needful Things. Enough to actually leave some around the store - you enjoy that now, Remy! - even if most of them came with her upstairs into the apartment, where she immediately put them absolutely all over, on the kitchen counter and the dinner table and the coffee table, and by her bed, and even next to the bathtub. They were just so pretty and yellow and she just had to twirl a little circle in the middle of the living room/kitchen area just to take it all in and sigh a big happy sigh.

Absolutely no thoughts were being spared for the inevitability of all of these flowers ultimately dying, and possibly soon. Not a single one.
